The RAF Museum, Colindale

RAF Plane

I'm still adjusting to my new neighbourhood, Totteridge in North London. During one of Britain's seemingly totally perpetual rainy or freezing, drizzly days, it's mandatory to have some kind of large indoor running space for children. The RAF Museum at Colindale is one such place, and I wrote a piece all about it for Travel Culture Magazine. On paper it didn't sound like the type of environment that would hold much appeal for me or for my two daughters, but it's actually a total godsend in inclement weather, brilliant value, and very interesting and informative, with some invaluable pieces of military aviation history and great permanent exhibitions.
